We have been asked to perform again as part of the Coca-Cola Summer Music Series at the Leesburg Premium Outlets. We play outdoors from 1:00-3:00pm, so come out and do some shopping...or bring some lawn chairs and just hang out with us. Our tent will be set up in a central location (last year we were between the Gap and Polo Ralph Lauren). Kid-friendly venue!!

Spellbound performed after a benefit poker run, held at Lion & Bull in Haymarket, VA on April 28, 2012. The organization Officer Down Memorial Page (http://www.odmp.org/) honors officers killed in the line of duty and pays tribute to the families left behind. Funds were raised, as well as awareness, for projects ODMP tries to do each year such as free bulletproof vests, officer safety programs, etc. More than 300 riders registered for the inaugural poker run! News: Going away party for Ron!

RELEASE: January 2013: It is with much sadness that Spellbound announces that our bass player Ron Titus has taken a job in North Carolina and will be leaving the band. While we congratulate him on his new position, we will miss him, his energy and all of the behind-the-scenes work he does for Spellbound.

Our last gig with Ron is Feb. 8 at Spanky's in Leesburg. We are trying to get a lot of fans and friends to come out and wish Ron the best (show info here).

And in related news, the band is proud to announce our new bass player is Lars Henrickson. He's an experienced player and will keep the band moving forward. More info to come.

In the meantime....we love you and will miss you Ron! Come on back and sit in with us every now and then please.

Spellbound does more than play in local bars & restaurants. The band has performed at benefits and also does private parties!

Despite the humidity and bugs in early August, the party got into full swing when the band fired up and played for a few hours. Thanks to Bill & Chris for a really good time! (Aug 4, 2012)

From October through February, Pink Jams! and the Hard Rock Cafe - Washington, DC are partnering to present a monthly artist showcase. Spellbound was asked to play on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 7:00-8:00 pm. What a great night. It may have been hotter than dammit in there, but we had a great crowd and an awesome time!

The Pink Jams! Artist Showcase is a live-music event series designed to raise breast cancer awareness in the Washington, DC area. Each event features a few local artists who are donating their talent to help Pink Jams! expand its mission and raise funding for our education programs. In addition, Pink Jams! promotes the work and talent of our artists, building brand recognition among our friends, contacts, and supporters.

On Feb. 23rd there will be another PinkJams! event at the Hard Rock Cafe, including the unveiling of the commemorative guitar pin the Hard Rock Cafe produced which was designed by Spellbound's own Julie Fanning. A portion of the sales will go to PinkJams! and its mission.

Spellbound is an enjoyable band, with a great list of songs to entertain you. I can see that Julie Fanning particularly likes to sing the blues. I went to this show to listen to some blues, got a good mix of Classic Rock and blues and walked away (sober) with a smile on my face. - American Blues News
